Wraparound Services: Service Comes to You!

Wraparound, or Behavioral Health Rehabilitative Services, address individual's complex behavioral and psychological health needs by developing a treatment plan that addresses that person's strengths, needs, and competencies. These services make the most of the resources that children already have: committed adults in their families, schools, and other personally significant environments. Unlike inpatient care programs, wraparound services occur in the individual's natural environments, such as the home and school, preventing the need for a client to be in more restrictive settings. Wraparound services are provided in the home, school, and community environments by committed professionals who strive to help their clients accomplish their behavioral goals.

Members of the BHRS Team

The MT also may be involved with providing therapeutic supervision to parents and other adults, helping them to develop strategies to accomplish the client's behavioral/emotional goals.

Behavioral Specialist Services (BSC)- Masters level mental health professional who coordinates behavioral rehabilitative services for the client, develops a customized treatment plan, and oversees support staff throughout the therapeutic process. The BSC also may be involved with providing therapeutic supervision to parents and other adults, helping them to develop strategies to accomplish the client's behavioral/emotional goals.

Therapeutic Support Staff (TSS)- A mental health professional who works one-to-one with the child or adolescent on a regular basis.
